Free to download 4K Gold Shimmer clip - very sparkly, shiny and Christmassy

Here is my latest 4K light leak. Well, its not quite a light leak. It's more of a backdrop or compositing tool. However, as always, it features real natural light and objects, no plug ins, no CGI.

As with all my clips, it is available for free via Creative Commons, details below.

I collect all my light leaks on a special page where there are MORE FREE DOWNLOADS, so bookmark it. So far my light leaks have been downloaded well over 700,000 times! And used in TV shows on NatGeo, Discovery and BBC1. As well as games, apps, movie trailers and indie films.



This is one continuous clip. So you composite it over other shots, use it as a background for text or speed it up for even more different looks. It is a large MP4 file, I tried to compress it as little as possible to retain the quality

Real light leak wipes to download - 4K

THERE ARE SIX CLIPS IN THIS ONE DOWNLOAD, so that adds a lot of variety. And, in your edit package, you can alter the speed of the clips (or reverse it) then you can create even more different looks. As they get very bright for a few frames, you can composite them over cuts (maybe use 'screen' mode) to create more interesting transitions. It is a large MP4 file, I tried to compress it as little as possible to retain the quality

Free to download video file - ghostly light leak

Here is my latest HD light leak. This one has a ghostly, spooky,  misty kind of look. In fact it is different light streaming through ice! Makes a good backdrop or use it in compositing.

Light leak wipe - in cool hues - 4K - free download

Here is my latest 4K light leak - or actually a set of 6 in one download!! As ever, available for free (and also you can watch it it in 2160p / UHD on YouTube) via Creative Commons, details below.

I collect all my light leaks on a special page where there are MORE FREE DOWNLOADS, so bookmark it. So far, they have been downloaded well over 400,000 times! And used in TV shows on NatGeo, Discovery and BBC1. As well as in many trailers and indie films.

This new one has a set of six different light leak wipes, all with a cool colour or cyan hue. This makes them great for hi tech or sciencey vibes!

All six are slightly different in style, but max out at pure white allowing for a transition or cut to occur underneath. I include all 6 in one download so that you can use them at different points in your edit without repeating the exact same effect over and over.
